The worlds largest photographic project is almost here and you have an opportunity to be
part of it. On the 24th of October 2009, at 8.00am (GMT +10) Townsville, Queensland Australia time, thousands of people from all over the world are participating in the worlds largest single moment in time photographic project. This is project will capture locations and people all over the world in a single moment in time to commemorate the first photo taken of the earth from outer space in 1946.
People from over 50 countries and every continent are participating in this unique event.
Yes thats right Even Antarctica is participating as well as satellite Images from a private satellite company, a sky diving team and a variety of other creative and exciting groups.
You have the opportunity to be part of this project also but joining the group. Heapfo now
has a Facebook group located at [link] and we encourage you to join. Its free so there is no worries about not being able to afford it. All images taken will become part of an online gallery of the project along with a description of every photograph and why that image was taken. We are every keen to have as many people as we can involved and with such a vast world to capture we hope to create a vision of the earth as it was on this day.
